I've been recruited to come catch this handsome dude. He looks like a Malay to me. What do you think?

Awesome, thank you. Those legs threw me and there's nothing in the picture with which to gauge size. I'm happy regardless - he's a gorgeous little creature. Now hopefully I can catch the bugger.

At night will be your best chance. Chickens have extremely poor vision at night. Be very quite and you can sneak up on him. Or you can lure him into a somewhat enclosed area. But as soon as he figures what your up to he'll bolt. And likely not come back into the area. Most people greatly underestimate how smart chickens are. They can remember peoples faces and have some problem solving skills.
