Is this leg mites?

I've been keeping an eye on this for a couple weeks, but I don't want to delay treatment any longer if it is mites.

To me it looks like an injury, but it would not hurt to start coating that area with Vaseline or Bag Balm as a precautionary measure.

Doesn't look like mites to me, more like normal coloration, dirt, or a possible injury. If you want, though, coat the area with vaseline or oil to smother any existing mites.

Yes it does look like leg mites. The area is raised and not flat and crack looking.
