Agoodegg, try looking for sevin powder in the garden section of like Lowe's or Home Depot.
Every few months, I sneak into the coop at dusk/dark and rub their feathers the wrong way as I sprinkle the sevin on them. I don't worry about covering every inch of the bird because it will spread itself as the chicken preens etc. Will even get on their face when they preen.
I also sprinkle some in their dust bath hole.
