This coming week, we're supposed to be getting extreme cold weather -- below 0 for the high. I came home from work yesterday and my husband says " Look what I did". I'm thinking "OMG now what?" He put up 2 more heat lamps in the coop for my flock!! His reply "I put all the time and effort in the little buggers; don't won't them to freeze!! Isn't that the sweetest thing ever!?!

Actually that does sound pretty good right now. Let's see....dig to the coop, chip off the ice to find the door, where's that rooster??, go find the grill...oh heck I guess he gets to live for another day...its not worth ite
