I know exactly what you mean. My white cochin roo has a few small extra toes growing from the top of his front toes. Don't think they are suppose to be that way but it doesn't seem to bother him any. Folks if i had a decent camera i would take a pic of mine but i don't

Ok , he has 3 front toes, 1 back toe, that is normal i know that, but on his 3rd front toe the smallest front toe, his claw curves upside down on both feet instead of a normal position.
i check all my other birds for the same thing none of them have it like that. he is my only red Cochin bantam. so i don't know if that's normal for his breed or not. I'm nervous because i have my first show to be in and i don't want to look stupid if they say that's a disqualification.

Are you saying that this is on the outer toes in the front on each leg? If so, in featherlegged breeds, that toenail is naturally like that. I'm not sure about other FL breeds, but I know in silkies, they don't take points off if it's missing entirely. You'll almost never see a featherlegged breed with that toenail perfectly formed

I would enter him. Because of the feathered feet they do sometimes seem to have a bit more problems with their toes.
