and eggs #1 and 2 look like tat... but egg @2 got cracked, so I thought it might be because of that. @21hens-incharge they all came from @SIMZ and the only thing I requested was NO leghorns.... and I forgot what mix they can be... I need to find her thread again.

I would too . I will tell you this Temperature should be taken and maintained at the top of the egg . I can tell that this egg sets lower in the incubator than the others . And believe it or not because the temperature being taken at the top of the largest egg. Eggs setting lower than the others does make a difference in the time it takes them to develop. It is more noticeable in a still air hand turned incubation than in a forced air upright auto turner . This could be the reason for your slow developer or it could be something else . But for a first incubation you have done good getting them to this point.
