Did you open them up?I have seen something like this twice before and I never did figure out what it was. Neither bird survived.
Yes. Both had huge masses.Did you open them up?
Yes. Let me see if I can find a picture.Ducks crops are different than chickens, correct?
Yes, she just drank and was foraging a tiny bit but did not seem interested in her rations. She's hanging closer to the others now, so that's good. Perhaps she was just holding a grudge? I know it sounds crazy but earlier I put this new duck harness for walking them on one of her friends and they were all really upset with it so I took it off.. maybe she was just upset about that, like moderately traumatized??@Bridger Davis is she eating an drinking?
How long has the lump been there? Try removing her feed tonight and see if it's smaller in the morning.
So maybe some kind of tumor...no histology done?Yes. Both had huge masses.
Okay, so maybe she just over ate. If so, she should be fine in the morning.Ok np bc they never get food at night.... I only really noticed it this afternoon, before she's looked fine....
In both of mine it was like a meaty tumor, very odd looking. So maybe some kind of tumor...no histology done?
