Is this normal?

Is she still breathing like she was yesterday? How’s their bedding no mold? In their house?
Yes breathing is still the same. I havent noticed any mold. I just cleaned the house and laid all new straw down on Tuesday night but I will clean it again today just to make sure. She is out and laying by a bush with Max now. It is so sad to see her not active and playing in the pool and not following Max around, and he wont go far, he keeps going a little ways and then goes right back to her. :(

I just don’t know what could be going on seems if respiratory there be more symptoms maybe try an antibiotic and see if it helps. Does her poop look normal? And and nothing toxic for her to get into?
She isn't really pooping and when she does its clear or like last night after her bath it was like a cloudy green. She is drinking but I haven't seen her eating yesterday or today, i moved her food and water over to the bush where she is just a bit ago but she didn't eat while i was out there and unfortunately i am working today (at home) so i cant stay out there long,I can see her from my office window but she hasn't eaten unless she snuck some in while i wasn't looking. Nothing toxic that I am aware of. I Just bought this house in December and the previous owners had chickens in the same are that I have the ducks and Chickens and Max seems to be fine and they usually eat the same things together. I just dont know

I am going to pick up sav a chick pro biotic on my lunch is that what you mean by an antibiotic? And some calcium gluconate since apparently I should have that on hand anyway.

No I mean in case she has an infection a true antibiotic which a vet could prescribe.
I cant get to a vet until tomorrow but I am planning on it if she is still like this in the morning, provided I can find one that accepts ducks and can get her in ugh I just wish she could tell me what is wrong lol. I live in a farm area so I would think the vets around here would treat ducks and hopefully not charge a fortune to look at her :\

Well I have some ideas about possible variables connected to why this started.

Were you by any chance giving her medicated feed early on?

Some people have commented for years, how people are giving their animals hormones and hormone injected food early on in poultry and other things. Its possible this may have contributed to how it may be too young to be egg bound but still have that problem.

And for the food to have hormones in it, you wouldn't have to know about that for it to happen. In theory, a lot of places making lets say 'dog food' are ordering ingredients made by others, and they might not even know everything themselves about whats in ingredients they use.

So you can see why I don't necessarily go for medicated food. Medicated or hormoned....

People have always wanted bigger, meatier animals, which led to tampering.

Now I wouldn't raise any hell or talk to them about this. It'd be a waste of time.

But if you can at least realize how it happened, you'll be better off.

There's a lot of stuff in our food that we don't realize as humans.

Now just from the covid nonsense there are examples of how forces at work fight over the future of industries. 'You can't go outside, unless you are can, or you're special. You can't work, unless you can. You can't meet with groups of people, unless you can. You can't go to church, but you can go to the bar (lol)'. These kinds of conditions were created by one group making rules not to do certain things, and another creating backdoor exceptions.
An example, some places have rules against hormones in feed, but allow for 'feed additives'. Guess what's in feed additives...

Sounds silly right?

We basically go in circles with stuff like this.

You should call ahead.

Farm vets are usually more open minded and better.

But most vets don't treat fowl. And its not their fault. The problem is that with any given animal if the vet bill is higher than the cost of the pet, they have a hard time not starving.
