Is this normal?

This was attached to the chick that literally just hatched 2 seconds ago, then fell off as it was trampled by another chick that’s 12 hours old... is this a vital part of the yolk sac that needed to be absorbed? It literally burst out of the egg with the thing attached.

Each and everyone of my chicks has had one of those. I'm pretty sure its just the sack of the yolk. Just remember to wash your incubator after each batch. :jumpy
 
It's just hatching debris, sometimes it's in the shell, but it's completely normal; and nothing is wrong.
