Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
Noticed what I think may be a bit of yolk or blood, but I could be wrong. Does that glob in the egg look normal?
Is this normal!?!?

Yes it is normal. It sometimes drags around for a while but will fall off and dry up. No big deal
