is this some sort of welsummer mix? Lots of new pics 5/4:)

1. Here are my chicks again, its been ten days since I last posted. I think the black one is a Domenique? Still no idea about the brown one, or sex of either. They are starting to make some grown up chicken sounds, and I think they are around six weeks... any input would be greatfully appreciated! H

Your black one is Barred, and its a Dominique. Your other is a pullet, but the breed is still a little iffy. I dont think it a Speckled Sussex, it doesnt have any white. Its legs are yellowly orange, could be a Light Brown leghorn, it will have white earlobes, and it would lay white eggs. If it was a welsummer, it will have red earlobes, it would lay darker brown eggs.Keep posting pics and they get older.

This is my Dominique hen. (the earlobe is the red spot behind the wattles)
