Is this the RIGHT kind of DE Diatomaceous earth ?

I bought this DE at my local Agway store. They lady told me they have 3 kinds of DE. One for pools, one for animals - she called it food grade, and one for plants/bugs.
It is in a 40 pound bag and cost $17.
Can anybody tell me if this is the right kind to give my chickens to prevent bugs etc?

If it's food grade it should say that or codex on it.
