Yep, looks like the same dog, just older and shaved. Looks like both pictures on top have the same lighter spot on the back just before the tail.

I knew in my mind, it was the same dog, but then again I had doubts since I just wanted it to be him.
Ive been wondering about him for the last 5 years. Im just glad some nice people have him and he didnt get hit,etc.

Im torn about what to do. I would love to have my dog back, but they have had him amd cared for him for 5 years. He is alot older and seems happy there, so it may be best to leave him there.

definitely looks like the same dog to me. that's neat! and he's their dog now. he looks well cared for and has a good home, I wouldn't take him away from that. now you don't have to worry about him anymore, and hey, you can offer to watch after him if they ever need it!

Does look like the same dog. I would have a hard time taking him back after 5 years. I am sure he loves his new family. If I thought they were not caring for him it might be different. But if he looks happy and healthy I would be satisfied with knowing he is doing well and did not suffer a tragic end.

Same here. It must be a relief that nothing horrible happened to him. I'm glad he's OK.
Do you still have the son/brother? Maybe there needs to be a family reunion.
