People don't always think before they ask. I get asked that question when people learn I have chickens. I guess sometimes people ask before brain processes it. Just like when people walk up to me and ask if my dog is a seeing eye dog as I am getting out of the car. Um hello if I were blind I wouldn't be driving a car

Thats so funny! I get asked about the egg and rooster thing alot sometimes I think " I hope I am

When we got chickens, my brother sheepishly asked if the roosters lay eggs. Then, my sister asked if the chicks were allowed to nurse or if they were immediately taken away from their mamas like heifers
