Is this twisted flights?

Has this bird molted out yet ? This twisted wing feathers would be a genetic fault. If you have other fowl to use I would cull this pullet. The genetic experts will say do not breed under any circumstance but I have used these when I had too to keep a line going, breed to an outside male and the off spring will still have the fault but will probably never show up again.

No he has not molted yet. He is only 3-4 mos in this picture.

I would guess they are just loose flights that are getting ready to fall out. Sometimes I see this not only in my outdoor fowl but also my parrots as the prepare to molt.



I also think that the bird pictured is a pullet.

Well I have seen him try and mate my older hens. Even though he is huge he is still a youngster. He was hatched on 5/23/10. He hasn't started crowing yet, but I am 99.9% sure that he is all boy. These pics are about from last month, when the feathers were more noticeable. Now they are still at an odd angle but not sticking out as far.
