I agree cockeral and he looks like he's self blue aka lavender to me not blue

I've been looking to add more oegb stock since I lost my self blue hen last fall to a mink and my sdw rooster over winter to old age.

He could be! We are still learning breeds and colors. We got him from a small town farm store, he was placed in a bin of amaraucanas chicks! So they didn't know anything about him

Yes! That one is a Buff Orpington, her name is Peaches. She came from a different farm vs he came from a farm store. But he could be!

Wrong body type for an OEGB, which also makes me suspect he's (yes, you've got a cockerel) a Lavender Orpington. The former is quite slender/trim, while the latter is more "pudgy."

You know I did notice that but I just assumed he was older as they said he was a bantam I figured they knew he was an oegb. Lol

Yes I too am changing my mind and think he is probably a lavender Orpington. I have multiple Orpingtons and I love them. They come in a wide array of colors.
