Combs bleed alot, clean him up with soap and water and put somekind of antibiotic ointment on him, just make sure it doesn't contain pain relief.

Done that, he is looking better now in his own separate area as i have no where big enough for the turkey, bleeding has stopped thats.

Good for you this time of year the hormones are beginning to rage and it's inevitable if you have males there are going to be clashes.

I think the turkey will be re-homed to someone with some girlfriends for him he has been getting worse and worse ever since she passed away from the prolapse, arrangements being made tomorrow, the poor cockerel is so quiet this is officially the straw that broke "my" back thanks again for you help.

Ack! Sorry, I missed that one pogmobum! My thought was same as Miss Lydia's.. Head wounds bleed a LOT! How is he now, and what's up with your turkey!?

Turkey is going to move somewhere else hopefully i can arrange it, he's been getting meaner and meaner since the girlfriend passed away even starting to take a liking for my hens which is super dangerous his feet are HUGE with massive claws, cockerel is much better having some alone time hopefully the turkey will get some ladies his own size and cheer up lol

Last baby is trying to bust out of the SIDE of his egg, not sure if he's too big (??) to pip all the way around or what but I said go for it big guy. He's fairly close just ****** lol. Bless him...
