We have been patiently waiting for some fresh eggs...after a few strange noises the last couple of days, we are thinking that it may take some sort of miracle for this one to lay an egg.
When we got our first 3 chickens just over a month ago, we were told they were all hens and had been laying. We have been patient and understand the stress of moving can cause them to stop laying, but we're now thinking there may be other reasons for not laying. We'll call it "it" for now. "It" has doubled in size the last month and hasn't been crowing, but a few crow like sounds have been heard the last couple of days...
Is "it" what we think it is?
