Is turkey egg laying season over?

I thought mine were done. (Yipee) Today however, I found a nest with 9 in it. Guess mine are still laying. I stuck them under a broody buff orpington. I've had 2 successful hatches that way. We'll see what happens in 29 days.

I got my first egg yesterday from my Royal Palm turkeys.

I have some Sweetgrass chicks that are over 5 weeks already.

Mine have slowed down due to broodiness but we're still getting two or three eggs a day. IF you're brave enough to get them out from under a very determined hen turkey!
