With fox and raccoons the object is to straddle them with the vehicle. The contact with the axles is what takes them out.It’s beyond me how people manage to hit them. I have trouble trying to run over squirrels let alone foxes and raccoons.

I don't think feeling relieved that "oh, one less predator to worry about", makes you a bad person. It's just that I take no joy is seeing a life wasted. Taking joy in the death of an innocent creature is a big part of why our society is falling apart.I feel relieved when I see one, and then i feel guilty for feeling relief. They are just testing to live their lives, but, gosh darnit, it's one less predator I have to worry about. Does that make me a bad person? Probably...
