I use an herbal concoction on all my critters. It does not kill worms, but it makes for an unappealing host. I make up a big batch and use it once a month for three days. I only recently began doing this when I added goats to my little farm. Main ingredients are black walnut hull powder, cayenne pepper, garlic, and wormwood. Again, this is more of a preventative measure than anything else. I would still use a chemical wormer with a nasty case if it came up.
I free range exclusively and have never seen a sign of worms in my flock. Doesn't mean they aren't there, but it hasn't been a problem thus far.
ACV is not worm medication. It won't treat worms, and it isn't a cure all.
