I recently got isa brown pullets from local supply store, but have one developing a much bigger cone and red waddle. At this point I am guessing another breed, RIR?, but wanted to know if RIR chicks could easily be mistaken for ISA? I am not thinking cockerel at this point yet. Can send picture if needed. They are about 12 weeks old. No crowing signs.
Thanks!!

I am leaning towards pullet due to same size as Isa pullets, very docile ( I know some Roos can be docile though) and although more cone it is pale.
Thoughts??

The bird with the large comb is a cockerel, probably some type of production red. The glossy feathers in his hackles and especially on the tops of his wings wouldn't be found in a pullet.
