Hi Lisa! It kind of has one of those 'so ugly it's cute' factors going for it. My son says "EWWWW!!!" everytime he sees it, but it's the first one he tries to get out of the brooder

So we'll probably keep it, providing it's a girl

And your NN do lay very pretty blue eggs!

Everyone I know that hated NN's but ended up with one.... well it became their favorite chicken... so beware...

personally I would love to have a frizzle NN and I think that chick is beautiful!

Standard, I believe, but I'm not exactly sure. It was a 'normal' sized egg, it was exactly the same as the ameraucanas (LF) that I had gotten. And the chick is the same size as the ameraucana chicks, so I think it's safe to say it's a standard chicken.

I think it's a conspiracy, actually, just like the silkie-lovers group. I used to be one of those 'silkies are ugly, I'll never have one' types....now I have at least 12. I'd have to do a baby head count to know for sure, but they kinda grew on me. I say it's a conspiracy, cause I had ordered some eggs from another BYC member. I got the eggs the other day, guineas and bantam cornish....guess what 2 of the extras were? Bantam turkens

They are trying to turn me, I just know it!!
