Thanks for all the replies-I did not intend for the "backyard breeder" comment to offend anyone.

I have a non breeding flock, and have a couple of retired show birds, so I know you can have some mighty good stock in your backyard. I am looking for d'uccles-should have specified! I'll take a look at what everyone mentioned-thanks!
