We live in the country, my neighbors have chickens/ducks/and two peacocks (one peacock one peahen). I have 14 chickens and 1 turkey, the peacock has recently been hanging out at our house. For awhile it wasn't an issue. However now he keeps roosting on our vehicles and scratching them, we found him in the garage one night roosting on the garage door rails, and now has recently started attacking my chickens and cornering them specifically my rooster. My chickens are pinned up during the day and only go outside when we are home from work. The peacock lays on the concrete from our walkout basement all day until I let them out. Ive tried chasing him off, spraying with water, shooting softly with a BB gun. I really don't want to have to kill the peacock but my neighbor doesn't really see any concern and now my chickens cant enjoy their few hours of rummaging because the peacock is becoming a nuisance. Is there anything I can do? If it was nice I wouldn't mind him hanging out but I cant have him scratching our vehicles and attacking my chickens.
