Yes. I see now buried in the post that op says there doesnt seeeeeem to be animal control--(though there are shelters)... electric fence rec. still stands.

Not up to the livestock owner to spend money to keep others dogs off of their property.

I always thought this was the strangest argument... just because you arent responsible for their dogs doesnt mean you arent responsible for the safety of your chickens.
