I have 5 RIRs. They are 17 weeks. Only one really has much of a comb, at this point. It seems to be getting "redder". I'll have to take new pictures. It's been a couple of weeks.That's good preparation! How old are your girls? How many/what breeds in your flock? Do you have any pics of them you'd want to share?
I've heard that RIR's are wonderful layers! I have one RIR x SLW... and once she started, she was laying almost everyday! I bet they will start in the next couple of weeks.
