It has begun

Marans should have feathered legs, too.

And brahmas too!

Wow, that's quite a list! Could be some interesting combos

Do they all range together? And did she mention which breeds she has bantams in?
yes all her birds range together........not sure on the bantam types........they are solid black tho......

okay, I asked the nice lady that sold me the eggs.......

quote" We've got a great variety of chickens - welsummer, wyandotte, ameraucana, barred rocks, cochin, marans, fayoumi, barnevelder, australorps, brahmas, sussex, orpingtons, Rhode Island reds, Houdan, campine, and lakenvelder. The roosters are cochin, Rhode Island Red, Maran, Plymouth Rock."

good lawd, there's no telling, except for the feathered feet chicks......have some cochin in them.
My guess in for a Maran, but I'm horrible at guessing so don't take my word for it HaHa

think I will have to wait until they mostly feather out, before any breed guesses can be made........

will a RIR rooster over any of the feather footed hens, make a sex link bird?

Silkies should have 5 toes, and black/very dark skin, but crossed silkies may not.

Pretty sure all Japanese have yellow legs. At least mine does. And very short legs. There are several color combos.

Mille fleur is a color pattern, several breeds can be mille fleur.

With that many breeds, I can see why she doesn't have them all separated by breed!

I looked up Houdans.........those are some pretty birds.....

I'm in the same boat with my chicks as well although they're not supposed to be crosses and mixes but that could be....

Rhode Island Red, Buff Orrington, Red Sexlinks, Ameracauna/Easter Eggers/Olive Eggers, Barred Plymouth Rocks, Light Brahma, White Leghorn, Delaware, Blue Marans, Black Austorlourp, Silver Laced Wyandottes

That chick in the top pic came out of a blue egg so I'm thinking Ameraucana or Olive Egger.
