Nothing so far that I can see. This is driving me nuts. I know I have a bunch of good ones. I float tested before lockdown and over 60 were moving and 100 were viable

On day 14 I had a temperature spike of 110 degrees Fahrenheit. It did not last long, only about 2 minutes, would this have a big effect on the embryos, or does the duration of the temperature spike not matter? At what stage should I check them out and float them?

Neb, be patient a little longer. JJMR's thread on the test is in the top sticky I think in #3 response . I think he said like day 21 to float test.

I tried it at day 18-19 and couldn't tell difference on some. But by day 21 it was obvious. The high temp is bad, but if only for a few minutes you might be ok. It doesn't look good but its possible.

If you see any leaking (literally bubbling) get them out and toss them. I had a few bubble around the middle (must have been cracked) my last hatch.

TCollier - just hang in there. Their going to hatch when they are good and ready, not before. Keep the humidity up.
Ummmmm. Normally you wait to float test the remaining eggs untill after the main hatch is over.

Don't panic, I've though every single one had died, then they all hatched overnight! It was pretty intense....

Have faith in your incbuator!

None have come out yet and no pips yet and it is killing me but eggs are rocking and rolling all over the place in the incubator. Has to be getting close now that these eggs are moving all over. It is day 18 so not sure why they are running late.

You were just trying to rush them. Day 18 is real good. Some may go 19-21 days.

I was about to ask you, but was almost afraid to. I thought you were past day 19 with none popping.

Get the pop corn ready cause, sounds like anytime now, you are going to have babies all over the place.

They better hurry up or I am gonna start popping them out of those dang shells. I can't handle this stress!

It was bad enough having to go to work today. I was just sure I was gonna come home and had missed everything.
