I had bought a small pet gazebo and silly me didn't think anything would happen with us standing right there. That is how it happened, the cat bolted and chick panicked, tried to get out and cat grabbed her neck and pulled her through. Ugh. I have since bought more hardware cloth (neverending) an have wrapped entire thing. Has a tarp roof and chicks will not be left unsupervised while in it.

Dang good thing they weren't out free ranging yet. Sheesh.

Like you said, lesson learned.

Sounds like you really fixed that cat good! Sound sliea really nice set up! SCK will
have to go back to hunting mice. Gotta love that hardware cloth!
