To top it all off, Ken and his wife stopped by tonight to see how things were going. They invited us to come up and have supper! They said we had enough to worry about between work, critters, and securing our property! And here I was thinking that we ought to be having them over for dinner sometime soon! We sure are blessed to have neighbors like these!

Its great you have a GOOD neighbor!!! I am very happy that you all got your four wheeler back.

What a scumbag the other guy must be. I hope he gets whats coming to him.

Beth, I am so glad that you were able to get your 4 wheeler back.

Having a known druggie/thief living in the neighborhood can be very unsettling. I have one living across the street, but he knows better than to try and take anything of mine.

If you don't know how to, learn to shoot a gun or rifle, and keep one handy when you are home alone. Get some Private Property/No Trespassing signs to post along with the fencing when you get it up.

Much as I abhor violence, I am a realist, and realize that the days of being as trusting as I once was are long over. I had a lawnmower stolen out of my backyard shortly after I moved into the neighborhood several years ago. I have since chained the replacement down to the fence. Once I finish building my lofts and coops I will build a shed for the garden equipment.

Make them a quilt! you do beautiful work..they will love it! not many neighbors look out for each other anymore.. your lucky.
