I wouldn't mind seeing snow like that at least once in the winter, but we usually get more ice than snow.

Thanks! I also have Bella La Goosie and Irma La Goose as well.

I just went out to see how all the ducks were doing.
I couldn't get the gate open, so after breakfast we will go out with snow shovels.
However the geese were complaining and the ducks are sliding around on the ice quacking. So they are alive at least.

This is our natural ice sculpture in the Gorge

The icicles were about 4 feet long when I took this picture. They are now about 7 feet and almost touching the ground!

I was driving though that crud yesterday from Corvalls OR all the way to Everett WA. Boy it was slow slow slow slow. Chained up before salem and was 20-30 mph for the last 200+ miles home on chains. Ice all over the windshield that had to be knocked off every hour or so, and has elimiated any desire to drive to the mountains.

Abandoned car galore and one SUV spin out just in front of us across all lanes of traffic to nearly hitting the exit ramp wall.


9 inches and falling. Last it was this bad was when I was in elementary school some time in the 90's.
