It's a goose!

So after an unsuccessful hatch, I was done incubating and bought a pair of Buff American geese... who immediately started laying eggs so DH had to give it another go... about 2 weeks in we had a storm that knocked down a tree in our front yard and we were out of power for quite a while. 3 of the 4 eggs quit, but one little fighter kept going. We didn't get out hopes up but yesterday afternoon he pipped!

Then this morning we woke up to this

Only problem is that we now have a lonely gosling on our hands...
