It's a goose!

    So after an unsuccessful hatch, I was done incubating and bought a pair of Buff American geese... who immediately started laying eggs so DH had to give it another go... about 2 weeks in we had a storm that knocked down a tree in our front yard and we were out of power for quite a while. 3 of the 4 eggs quit, but one little fighter kept going. We didn't get out hopes up but yesterday afternoon he pipped!

    Then this morning we woke up to this [​IMG]


    Only problem is that we now have a lonely gosling on our hands...

    Awwwwwwwwwww, look how cute. Sorry about the babies that didn't hatch. You will enjoy raising him.
