hi
yippiechickie.gif

glad to have found lots of feather fanciers
I live in not so rural Brighton on the east Sussex coast of England.I was raised a lot in the country and I think my grandparents having chickens installed an urge to have chooks of my own one day.I live in a one bedroom flat however and, although I have a garden, I feel it is too small for chickens.Hence the quail!....third the size, less noisy for my neighbors and less messy to boot.hope to join in a few threads as I find my way around.thank you for membership

In case you haven't found it yet, there's a forum for members with quail here:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/48/quail

There are also articles about them in the Learning Center too (the tab between Home and Forum).

Hope you are enjoying them. Thanks for joining us, it's nice to have you here!

Hi :welcome from Yorkshire UK

Glad you could join the flock! I hope you are enjoying your quail. I hatched and raised some and they were fab little birds to keep. Unfortunately I had to rehome them due to the dog not liking them. But I will certainly think about having some more in the future.
The quail link that NorthFLChick left for you is great place for all your questions. Also drop by the UK thread, you never know there maybe other quail keepers near to you. Here is the link ~https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/655508/uk-member-please-say-hi/0_30
See you over there if you pop in.

Wishing you the very best of luck and enjoy BYC :frow

Definitely check out our Quail link that NorthFlChick left with you. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Cheers.
