Fantastic coop! I like that EE supervising from your friend's shoulder!

That article about you has me all choked up. I hope things are looking much better now. What a dedicated teacher you are, it sounds like you have instilled your students with a passion for learning. I bet it helps you to stay positive because you have a job and students you love. As a mom of a middle-school boy with issues (Aspie), I really value teachers like you. My son is lucky enough to have had several really wonderful instructors who have gone above and beyond and put a little creativity in their lessons. The kid actually loves to go to school now!

My MIL has cancer. She was a middle-school math teacher and quit when she started radiation. Even though she was feeling very ill, she returned to the school to work just a month later because she said sitting at home and dwelling on her circumstances was going to kill her. A few years have passed, she is retired now. After a few months in a retirement community, she moved out and bought a townhome in a neighborhood of families directly accross the street from an elementary school. She is at that school volunteering every day, and works in her garden after school. She feels better than she has in years.

I wish you the best health and a speedy recovery. You already have the great attitude and dedication; and that is a lot of the battle.

I'll start at the lower end of the list.

Nice job on the coop! In my neighborhood, we call congatulate each other with, "Pretty work!" And nice birds, to boot.

Moving up, I followed your link and gotta say you're a remarkable fellow. Here's wishing you everything you need to make your way throught he challenges your health presents.

Trying to tie those two thoughts together, I've heard

that chicken TV is a wonderful thing.

Again, pretty work!

And my thoughts and prayers.
