It's been over 24 hours and still looks like this!

Is it still cheeping vigorously or is it wearing out? It might need more help.
He is not as active as he was about an hour ago....I was thinking maybe he just needed to rest for a bit? I think if nothing has progressed in the next half hour it's time to help him more!

Keep an eye on his breathing. That's how my chick went. He was trying, then just peeped a bit, then stopped and just stayed like that for about 45 minutes before I helped. I think your chick needs it.

He's here!!! Literally from my last post until now he managed to get out on his own!!!! I was headed down with all my supplies to get the little dude out and there he was ♥️

Only thing is his umbilical cord is still attached and he's dragging around the egg shell. But otherwise he is all fluffed up this morning and chirping!!
It should dry up and fall off on it's own. I've heard of people clipping it off really close to the shell and letting the rest fall off on it's own. Them dragging the shell around can cause issues.
