Yeah I've been really busy with work and my Daylily Hybridizing this summer. I've got over 600 seeds planted that will bloom in the spring of 2012 for the first time. I spot read some but haven't been posting much. George is still doing great and just as sweet as ever. I'll have to get an updated picture of him to post.

22 this AM, 21 next Monday, high of 61 over the weekend. Turned the heat lamp on over the babies' waterer.

It was a balmy 27 this morning. Thought about breaking out the flip flops again.

Yes my bike ride commute to work was a bit on the frigid side. 22 degrees, felt like 14. Braking on the downhills is never fun!

Aw, that's so cool that you still have George! I still have his daddy, Suede, who is turning 4 years old next month.

I have inlaws in Walterboro SC and they all have been annoyed with the cold spell yall are having. I know yall arent supposed to get temps like this for this long and all but I admit I find it a tad bit funny with the mother inlaw calls here to Alaska to complain about "cold temps" I hope you all stay warm and cozy and it breaks for you soon

You know I can't remember how old he is but I believe he will be 3 this coming April if I'm not mistaken. He still has those brassy hackle and saddle feathers and this years molt didn't help him much. Last year he looked really good at first but it didn't take long for the brass to come back. Doesn't matter cause I like him regardless. George is a sweet guy!! He will eat out of your hand and he's careful not to get your finger when taking it. He's the only roo my wife will try to hand feed.

We're about 30-35 miles east of Walterboro, and cold as all get-out. Not used to this and the houses aren't built for it! LOL, I had to search for 45 minutes to find a jacket to wear.
