Hello, everyone!
We've had 9 total roosters lol and we just started in February! Our odds have been horrible. I went ahead and got a "pullet" speckled sussex from North 40. This one is 12 weeks old.
However, this cutie is looking like a rooster to me! What are ya'lls thoughts?! I live in an area where I cannot keep him. I'm currently rehoming 2 others and have rehomed multiple in last few months! My Kids don't get attached anymore. Haha

Yeah, i can see pointy saddle feathers comming in. Sorry.
I knew it!!! This is number 10... and I might have another rooster that I've been eyeing. Do other beginners have this kind of luck ??! It seems like my odd are stacked up against me with starting a flock of my very own ladies lol.
Thank you for your response!!

WOW! That IS horrible luck.

Most of the time if getting sexed pullet chicks from a hatchery there are maybe 1 in 10 that end up being male.

I hope your odds improve as so many roosters needing rehomed is discouraging.
