It's day 23 & no signs of eggs hatching.

I need help asap!!!!! I have a home made incubator and it's already day 23. So far there is no peeping or sign of life. I canceled the eggs and they had veins and an air sack. The rest was too dark to see. the humidity is 55 and I can't get it any higher, I've tried everything from a wet towel to a bowl of water with a sponge. I'm getting worried it's my first time incubating and I'm starting to lose hope.

I had 14 eggs 10 hatched day 20-21 and im on day 23 now 4 left and nothing what shall I do with the last 4 do you think they will still be alive

Did your eggs ever hatch? We are on day 23, first time ever incubating and for some reason i cant set the humidity so worried they have died. Have candled, can’t see movement but air sacks are at the bottom and the rest dark?

Hi still not pipped going to try bowl of warm water and see if they move if not then most prob died don’t know

Hi I’m in Prestatyn north wales candled my 4 eggs that haven’t hatched yet now on day 24 and all not alive so got rid of them.
My farmer friend said that if I have put them all in at same time they all should hatch at same time or a day between we had 14 eggs 10 hatched but 1 died so we have 9 healthy chicks and 4 eggs didn’t hatch. I think that’s a very good hatch rate for my 1st time of doing this I’m very happy with my 9 little chicks they beautiful x

Ahh thats a good outcome. We have 2 pips and one more rocking now. Hope the humidity is good enough for them. One has pipped but now mot mo i gnso worried aniut that one. We’re now day 24!

Glad some have pipped for you so hopefully within 24 hours you should have babies here’s mine they are beautiful little things so happy with them

Aww lovely chick we gave our 4 eggs a couple of days extra then candled them and nothing or you could try warm water in bowl and place egg in if no movement after 1 min then no hatch I’m afraid but don’t put in water if pipped good luck x
