Yes! Pepper plants are actually perennials too, so you can over winter the plants in a greenhouse, which is what I plan to do. I had a Serrano and Jalapeño that were 3 years old when I lived in the valley (I was able to just leave it out all year there). The peppers actually get hotter year after year and are more prolific. I’m planning to grow mine in large pots and then transfer them to a green house in the winter once I get one.
Peppers are super fun to grow! The only thing that beats them is cucumbers, I love how huge their leaves get once the start growing on a tree!
