I went outside to take photos of the chicks that I have for sale, but got some very good photos of the adults, too! So I decided to just make it flock picture day!
This is "Momma", one of four currently-sitting bantams, taking a break from sitting to grab some food.
Chicky says "I think I saw a bug!"
A lone-hatch bantam chick, checking out his mirror friend!
"You got any mealworms?!? I'm hungry again!"
My alpha female, Brownie!
Dust bath, anyone?
Buddy the Hen is looking for the cricket that just escaped!
Everyone PILE ON! Dust bath time!
It is clearly afternoon nap time!
Harry gets ready to belt out his song!
And there he goes!
Where in the world did those hens run off to?!?
Karmel, checking out the flashy camera!
She lost interest pretty quickly!
Leghorn chick posing pretty in the bright green grass!
Lone-hatch chicky and his set-up.
Buff polish chick getting ready for take-off!
Buff polish chick looking for the biggest pieces of food!
Three little broody hens, all in a row!
The friendliest, most outgoing chick I have ever had. And it's a sumatra!
The alpha male, Skeeter!
"Hey lady, did you let my hens out of the pen?"
"Okay, maybe they're still in here somewhere...only one way to find them!"
"Come here little hens! Where are you?!?"
"Let's go girls! It's time to eat! Come on!"
