What goes up must come down and to many folks have moved around here in the distance so i do not shoot up in the air around here.
I use roman candles for hazing and bottle rockets to get rid of unwanted flying kinda critters.

Distant neighbor ran off and left a huge pack of cats behind, driving my birds nuts and had the dogs treeing them, so i started blasting shots over their heads while they were in the tree and blasting the areas they were roaming on my place, no more cats but now my daughter is having trouble with them, many of them have been hit by cars o the farm road , eating road kill i guess

Yea when it is dry i don't do much firing toward the wood , up in the air close by is good enough to haze.. blast in a half circle with 10 shots will send most anything on it's way and no critters are hurt.

My poor peas, it is cold, raining buckets and wind is blowing real hard most of them can't even get up in the trees, this should be an interesting night, i ain't never seen them sleep any where but the trees sense they were big enough to get up there.

Zaz, this year inside the alley of the building Pea Palace is built around I had filled it with firewood for when we camped. I offered to give all this wood to my neighbor who heats with a wood stove on the condition he gets it all out quick so I could enclose it and have another source for housing for my peas. Well with constant rains this fall he could not get a pickup thru my yard back to the building to get the 5-6 pickup loads of firewood removed. Now it's gone but only as of last week. I had to scramble and re-arrange birds to get them all under roof for the winter.
My coming 3yr olds are now housed with the chickens,which niether has been around each other before. My coming two year olds were moved to my front building and pen thats all on concrete and my 2014 hatched young peas now occupy the largest indoor pen inside the Palace. I couldn't imagine any of my adult peas staying outside here during the wintertime when we get wind chills manytimes 25 below zero. A flock of frostbitten toed birds will be useless come breeding season. Your temperatures in Texas can't be as cold as we get here and we det the same high winds here during the spring-summertime. Your worst day in Texas would be a normal cold day here. I'm sure Thang would prefer the weather your experiencing now compared to winds at 25mph and temps down to zero.

I only worry when it is raining ,hard for them to get dry when the humidity reaches 100% but the darn fools still got to make it up to the trees when night time is comming.
We do not get temps below zero ever or not in my lifetime , don't think i would like the experience neither so you can keep it right over there, i will take some sun shine if ya can spare it

What is a report? i can cover 100 yards with that thing and i am very ,very accurate, them older hawks test me sometimes flying so high the rocket can't even come close to running them off, they ain't scared

but they can't come in for a kill so i still win
