It's going to be super cold.

It is 62• degrees right now and raining! Usually it is 90•+ and no rain in sight! So I'm not complaining!

I-35 N of Dallas is under water at Valley View!

We needed the rain we were In a drought about 6 weeks ago, so I am not complaining. How about you? I 've got 5 of Mandy's eggs in the incubator and they seem to be developing! I picked them up from her last Sunday. I know it's early but after hatching as many guinea eggs as I have I know the changes they go through when they are alive.

"I have just let them free range between pens so they could be BS, IB, purple, or white. Fingers crossed I hope they hatch for you. Oh no so many earthquakes. I don't like that feeling at all everything is moving." This is what Mandy told me.

Man this weather over here is horrible, rain, lightening , wind and birds all over the ground, looks like we are gonna be under water here very shortly if it keeps up, thank god the ground brooders are a foot higher.
My poor daughter they were supose to start the forms for the slab of her new home yesterday but the ground around the area was already so wet that they postponed it, now it will be another 2 weeks if this rain keeps up as her DH got a little crazey on his dozer and moved alot of dirt that should have been left alone and when you do that around here and it rains there is gonna be mud there for a very very long time, i tried to tell him about this southeast texas clay but us girls don't know nothing, he was use to sand up at the lakes, this ain't the lakes , however they are gonna have a lake around where the new home is being built cause he kinda made some low spots on each side of the driveway and no way for the water to drain.

It is still misting. We had about 7" of rain. It is overcast and 62•. A week from now it will be 95•! It got down to the 50s last night. I had taken the heat off of the week old guineas and out the 6week old pea n with them. Big mistake. I had very cold birds in the utility room this morning. I thought I lost the guineas this morning! I turned the heat lamp back on and I wrapped the pea in a towel and held him until he warmed up. Now everyone is fine. I won!t do that again!
