It's happened, today I officially feel old

ohh shysters....my granmother used to say you are not old until you can no longer get off your rocking chair and depend on everyone else to do your chores!!! 50 is young, still..and you still have to think about your life for the next 3o to 40 years...take care of yourself, and have a happy heart which is another one of my granmothers favorite sayings.... happy hearts keep you young!! Of course she always said this as she was twirling her way onto the dance floor!!!! she ate what she wanted, smoke cigars, and indulged in the sweetests of things, she would play with her grandkids until they were pooped right out. Every sunday she would bake all sorts of goodies and order disney movies for all the grankids to watch, Sundays at grammas was super fun. She built sand castles until the very last summer she was on this earth.

She didn't worry about laundry on the line or being caught in the rain, and she certainly didn't worry about getting a boyfriend at 60 and travelling to morocco with him as often as she could. She used to say the aches and pains were just the downside of life but that is what hot tubs, tylenol and sunshine were for!!! 50 is a new beginning, a time to explore yourself all over again, and surprise yourself!!!

I truelly appreciate everyones concern and well wishes. Had therapy again this morning, not figuring on packing it in any time soon just yet. Although we may be having a sizable TENDON BLOWOUT STOCK REDUCTION SALE in the not to distant future.
