Did you recandle those eggs yet? It does sound like your thermometer might be off...probably reading higher than it actually is. Did you use more than one to compare the temperature reading to make sure it is accurate? What kind of thermometer was it you were using?

I really think something should have hatched or at least pipped by now. I am sorry, but it doesn't sound good. Personally, I would do a break open analysis (after candling to confirm they perished) and I'm sure you'll find a smallish, underdeveloped chick indicating too low of temp.

btw..I don't think dh's bump did anything to hurt them.

Have you ever seen a Momma hen sitting on eggs and then she gets off of them to eat and then gets back on them??? I think your eggs will not be bothered by a bump. They are pretty tough. Just my unofficial opinion....

Don't you want to figure out what went wrong first? Maybe you should try some eggs from home first to see if you can verify your bator is working right. If you want to work through troubleshooting, I'm sure lots of folks would be happy to help.
