It's Marek's. How long does she have?

Sorry I’m using this thread for research. How long where they paralysis for before they died. I took in a hen who hasn’t been walking for about 3 months. The women said she had a vitamin defiency but I’m scared it’s Mareks.
I had a hen paralyzed for about 3 months and lived. I kept her in the house. I gave her a vitamin b complex pill everyday, poultry cell in eggs and selenium with vitamin e. I would also massage her legs a few times everyday and stretch them out. I also made her a sling with a storage bin so she could stand. She is back out with the flock. I dont think it would be a vitamin deficiency after that long but mareks. They normally die within a week of showing signs. Don't give up on her it takes time and patience but she can survive. If you don't mind me asking was there any signs before she couldn't walk?

I haven’t had her for super long, she went from stumbling back to now flopping on the floor with me but I believe she wasn’t getting the right vitamins for some time. If it is Mareks should I treat her and return her to the original flock. I don’t want to put my other girls are risk but I don’t want to give up on her

If she has it, they all do. It's spread by dander. My paralyzed hen had it first and lived. I have lost 4 since and all died within days of showing signs. She was really clumsy at first and than started falling over and eventually paralyzed. What have you tried treating her with? I would also do what the chicken tender said. I know garlic is good for chickens so i would definitely do garlic water. I haven't tried the rest so i dont know. I also give pedialyte to the sick ones.

It was just B12 for a while, I don’t think the other women gave her anything else. I’m giving her vitamin b complex now. I’m so scared for my other hens.

It took 1-2 month after the first hen for the others to start showing signs. I was praying it wasn't marek's but necropsy said it was. She is the only one to survive so far. I would do the b complex for 2 weeks. I would also add selenium with vitamin e. You can get it from tractor supply in a tube that's for sheep. Just a pea size amount twice a day. Is she still eating and drinking? I fed eggs with poultry cell in the morning and tuna at night and syringe pedialyte bc she couldn't move to drink on her own. Is she completely paralyzed?

No, she still moves her legs up and down. She flops on the side sometimes but for a while would just walk backwards. I’m taking her to the vet this week, going to make an appointment tmr they are close this week
