Very nice! I was gonna build a 6 x 6' but after seeing yours I may actually go 4 x 8.

I love it. I think i could comfortably house a few more if I feel the need. Which I may because my girls are so awesome I cant wait for them to start laying. The secure run could be bigger but they also have an open run for when we are home.. They get to be all the way outside for 5-6 hours a day. Most of the time they really like to roost in the secure run.. heck I live in washington tons of rain LOL

We thought the girls needed more safe run for when we were gone.. Added quite a bit more room. They are very happy chickens.

Also we added a single long roost instead of the multiple shorter length ones since they all like to be on the top anyhow. Added a ramp up to the roost but they dont need it.

My girls 14-15 weeks old.. Getting really excited about getting eggs soon.. When should I put nesting material in the boxes?
