That would be great if he agrees to live on your farm. Even if it's not in the same house at least you're in the same vicinity. I would like for that to happen one day with my own parents but I doubt they would like where I want to live. I hope this works out

Distance is very tough. I was going to suggest Skype but then you said that would not work. I understand. Too bad your sister would not set it up for you to talk to your dad through Skype at her place.

My former husband talked to his family in Europe on my pc using Skype. It was great for them.
