It's official, I can't wait anymore I'm going to plant inside

I was recently given several high pressure sodium and metal halide grow lights, which while a little more technological (and carbon intensive) than I like, have allowed me to do some amazing garden preparations. I currently have 32 tomato starts in various stages of development, close to that in various peppers, with cucumbers, stevia, eggplant to boot. I have done some major expansions to my gardening space, but even with those, I have a sneaking suspicion my friends and neighbors will be getting some starts!

Oh as usual I killed everything, it's okay last frost is scheduled for the 9th so I'm all ready to go planting. My daughter just started a freebie onion she was given and we have a new peanut plant.
How is this working out? I found some onions today in the garage that had sprouted and remembered this post. did you put the entire onion into dirt or did you cut the top off and just plant that. Thanks

Well, when I planted inside earlier this year, I really had no intentions of still having plants inside by this time of the year. However, mother nature seems to have other ideas about gardening this year and keeps throwing freezes at us every week in between 80 degree weather. So I still have tomatoes and squash growing in my living room now along with marigolds, eggplant, basil, marjoram, and tomatillos. Lol. Okay, God, I really was joking about building trellises over my sofa ...

I made an attempt at starting seeds this year and I think they are ready to go into the garden. If the weather would be a little kinder. Last night the temps were in the low 30's so I'm going to wait another week. here's a pic of some of my tomato's and cucumbers.

these are all in 6in pots

They look great but i'd wait til night time temps are up a little before planting out. They'll hold in those pots for quite awhile as long as they get water and sunlight. Maybe outside during the day and back in at night for a couple of weeks?

They don't like it outside. I took them from the house then to the garage, and put them outside when the sun shines. They aren't happy when the sun goes down. They look like they want to crawl back into the dirt in the pot. I did put some in the garden and they seen to enjoy being there, at least they're still alive. Here in Michigan we can get sunburned and frostbitten in the same week so you don't know when to plant or what to wear.
