Its SNOWING in GA!!!

We got it pretty good in Newton County

Pics are kinda dark though.

Havent seen it snow like this here in years. Though I do have a vague memory of many feet of snow when I lived in Massachusetts as a child.

Leave the house in ice!!! Oh no no sweetie. Here in the south we don't leave the house at ALL when there's ice out. That's suicide. We don't have fancy salt trucks on back roads and chains on our tires.

Ice means no work and no school.

It's snowing in middle TN, too. As much as I like to look at it, the fact that it'll probably be a snow day for the schools (which usually also means for my daughter's Mom's Day Out program) bites big time. I would so much rather get things accomplished tomorrow.

It sleeted on me here all afternoon while feeding and doing chores. Then I took dd and dh to the doctor and it has snowed here for like 4 hours, but it's wet wet wet snow and is melting as soon as it hits something. Dang, I would love to see a dusting of snow just for my 2 year olds sake. It's like 34 degrees here and isn't supposed to get much colder, but the weather said it was going to pass us up and cause trouble for y'all in Ga, TN and the Carolinas.
